Why do we use your data?

We use your data for:

  • processing, paying for, shipping, and returning orders;
  • customer service and communication regarding your order;
  • preventing fraud and securing our website;

  • sending marketing when you have given permission for this.

We process personal data based on the performance of a contract, a legal obligation, your consent, or our legitimate interest.

To place an order, we require your name, contact details, address, and payment information, among others. Without this data, we cannot process your order.

We only send marketing messages when you have given permission for this.

You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us at info@voltixforce.com.

Some parties process data on behalf of VoltixForce. Other parties, such as payment providers and carriers, may be independently responsible for their processing.

We never share more data than is necessary.

Processing outside of Europe

Some service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area.

In that case, we only use parties for whom a valid European level of protection or other appropriate safeguards apply, such as approved standard contractual clauses.

How long do we store data?

We do not store personal data longer than necessary.

  • Order, payment, and billing data: normally seven years due to our legal administrative retention obligation. When the European One Stop Shop scheme applies, certain data may be stored for ten years.
  • Account data: as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete data that we are no longer legally required to store.
  • Customer service: a maximum of two years after resolution, unless data is needed for longer for a complaint or legal dispute.
  • Marketing data: until you withdraw your consent.

In addition, we may use limited analytical cookies to gain insight into the use and functioning of our website. When these cookies have no or only minor consequences for your privacy, prior consent is not always required.

For other analytical cookies, marketing cookies, and tracking technologies for which consent is required, we ask for your prior consent via the cookie settings on our website.

Marketing and tracking cookies may be used to analyze the use of our website and to better tailor advertisements to your interests.

You can adjust or withdraw your cookie preferences and previously given consent at any time via the cookie settings on our website.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access.
